Review the Past and Look Forward to the Future

It was a lovely summer afternoon on 4^th December 2022 at the Multicultural Centre in Canberra, where the members of the Federation of Chinese Community of Canberra Incorporated (FCCCI) gathered together and attended 2022 Annual General Meeting. On this auspicious occasion, several key speeches were delivered respectively, they were:

2022 FCCCI Work Report by Mr. Gu Hao, the President of FCCCI;

2022 FCCCI Finance Report by Ms. Ran Shuping, the Treasury Secretary of FCCCI;

The explanation on the Amendment of FCCCI Constitution by Mr. Cao Wei, the Vice President of FCCCI;

FCCCI Groups’ Operations in 2022 by Mr. Li Yongli, member of the Executive Committee of FCCCI; and

2022 Annual Report for the Chinese Language Learning School in Canberra by Ms. Gu Chenyang, the Vice Schoolmaster.

At the meeting, an election for the members of the Executive Committee of FCCCI was conducted. 9 candidates were successfully elected by an overwhelming majority.

As usual, every year’s annual meeting won’t conclude without a colorful performance. This year, the talented members also put-up a brilliant show with various performances including the cheerful waist drum dance, choir, instrumental music ensemble which was just established this year, children’s singing and dancing, poem recitations, Taiji marshal art, dancing and singing etc. At the end of the show, all the members joined the performers on to the stage and dancing together which marked the successful conclusion of the Annual General Meeting 2022.    

远山报道：2022年12月4日下午，堪培拉华联社在多元文化中心召开2022年年会，会议取得圆满成功。

会议在腰鼓队的迎宾锣鼓中拉开序幕。

会议由执委茹贤主持。

华联社主席顾豪代表执委会做了2022年工作报告，

华联社财长冉淑萍做了2022年度财务报告，

执委李勇利做了关于华联社组织发展和各活动平台的情况报告，

华联社中文学校常务副校长顾晨阳做了华联社中文学校的工作报告，

华联社副主席曹巍做了关于修改章程的说明。

顾豪主席对2022年度做出优异成绩的会员进行了表彰。他指出，我们华联社有一支强有力的骨干队伍和义工队伍，带领各个团队积极开展活动，各项活动有声有色，丰富多彩。我们的义工队伍无私奉献，为华联社大家庭做出了积极的贡献。

随后，大会进行了新一届执委会成员的选举。会议共发出选票86张，经过与会会员的认真投票，上一届的9名执委全部高票当选，组成华联社第十九届执委会。顾豪主席代表新一届执委会做了简短发言，表示要再接再厉，继续发扬带头作用，团结一心，共同把华联社建设得更好。

与会会员认真审议了新的章程，认为这次修改章程工作，执委会做了很多工作，从今年4月份开始准备，召开各种会议，听取各方面的意见和建议，充分发扬了民主，修定出符合华联社目前情况，适应时代发展并且具有前瞻性的章程，为华联社今后的发展提供了法律上的支持和保障。与会会员一致通过了新章程，华联社新的章程即时生效。

会后，华联社各文娱活动团队表演了精彩的文艺节目。

这些文艺节目形式多样，各具特色，演出水平有了明显的提高，

有些新节目是第一次亮相，会场内响起阵阵掌声。

年会历时2个半小时，会员和嘉宾共有一百多人参加了会议。
