兔飞猛进 喜庆国庆 多元文化 前程似锦

堪培拉华联社简报

烟火声中我们即将迎来兔年。今年中国春节期间正好又将迎来澳大利亚国庆节。堪培拉华联社决定于1月26日，澳大利亚国庆节当日，举办两场活动，回顾我们在澳洲的旅程，尊敬先民和我们自己对澳洲社会的贡献，并共同庆祝多元文化美好社会，庆祝我们的更美好的未来。

第一场活动是文艺演出，在Gungshlin College 边上的草坪上。23 Gozzard Street Gungahlin. 从上午10:30 到下午3:30. 届时会有传统的中国腰鼓舞，民族舞蹈，民族乐器和唱歌跳舞，还有澳洲本地原居民表演。将向观众呈上一场美好丰盛的艺术盛宴。演出现场还将进行传统中国文化与中国食品和商家摊位展出。

第二场活动是研讨会，以”我爱澳洲，我的心历和我的贡献”为主题。将由数位在澳大利亚各个领域作出突出贡献的华人向大家分享他们的心历旅程，他们的贡献与感受。演讲会将在180 London Cct, 市多元文化中心2楼多功能大厅进行。从当天下午6:30 到晚上9点。华联社将向与会者免费提供部分食品。

华联社相信这些活动将有助于继续推进堪培拉多元文化社会，帮助华人同胞融入澳洲社会，提升澳洲社会对华人贡献的认知，有助于反击各种形式的种族主义与对澳洲华人的种种偏见。

Australia Day celebration by the Federation of Chinese Community of Canberra Inc (FCCCI)

Chinese lunar new year is coming on 22^nd January 2023 and during this festival season, Australia Day is also approaching. FCCCI is to organize two activities on 26^th January 2023 to mark this special occasion.

In this year’s Australia Day, FCCCI is to organize two events.

First is to hold a concert on January 26 2023 in Gungahlin College lawn area, 23 Gozzard ST, Gungahlin, from 10:30 am to 3:30pm, where some traditional Chinese dance, music and singing, martial arts will in display, as well as local first nation people’s performance. There will also be some Chinese arts and food stores in display.

Second event is a forum to be held in the function room of the Theo Notaras Multiculture Centre, 180 London Cct ACT. From 6:30 pm to 9 pm. The theme of the forum will be “I love Australia – my journey and my contribution”. Where some eminent Australian Chinese will share their journey and experience with the audience. This is to promote social harmony and better understanding of Australia multiculture society.

By organizing these events FCCCI is to reflect all Australia people, including first nation people’s journey, our history and contribution to this country, respect this nation’s multiculture and joined achievements, and celebrate “we are one”, and our bright future.
